I worked with The Scientific American Custom Media team to design and develop a series of scrolling storytelling experiences that tell the story behind individual Kavli Prize Laureate Winners. THE KAVLI PRIZE was established in 2005 and the main objective for the Prize is to honor, support and recognize scientists for outstanding scientific work in astrophysics, nanoscience, and neuroscience. Each experience incorporates video, audio, photography, and a VR experience to tell the laureate’s story. The job required I design an over-arching theme each project would follow and to wireframe the experience for both mobile and desktop platforms. I was responsible for full web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and all cross browser testing.
