Ajiri Tea

AJIRI TEA is an e-commerce business created with the goal of empowering women through employment in western Kenya. I worked with the Ajiri Tea founders to redesign their website with the interest of communicating their story better. Responsibilities included the redesign and development of key landing pages. To improve site navigation for a better user experience across mobile and desktop platforms. I enhanced user interfaces and created where necessary digital touch points to drive up engagement and e-commerce sales. I used the Shopify platform and Liquid code base to build unique, reusable and easily maintainable sections and snippets. Local farmers harvest all the tea and coffee and all Ajiri packaging and labels are handmade. 100% of the net profits go back to Kenya to pay school fees for orphan children.
