175 Years of Discovery

175 YEARS OF DISCOVERY is an immersive storytelling experience that traces the 175-year history of Scientific American magazine, the oldest continuously published monthly magazine in the United States. The project highlights notable writers and key articles and includes large browser width photos and videos in its celebration. I worked with senior editors and the photo director of the magazine to select photos and videos and was responsible for all interactive design, front-end development, and cross browser testing. The project was part of a marketing campaign and included as part of Scientific American’s 175 year single topic issue online.
